ABOUT OUR SPECIALTY
Our surgeons are among the only surgeons in Indiana who are members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Membership in this specialized and exclusive organization is restricted to ophthalmologists who have been board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and who have received extensive training and testing in plastic reconstructive surgery of the eyes and face. This highly specialized certification assures you of the very best care available, offered by surgeons who set the standards for excellence in aesthetic eye and facial surgery.
Common problems referred to our office include cosmetic surgery, reconstruction of the mid-face following injuries and birth defects, tumors involving the eye socket, care of artificial eye sockets and other problems related to the eye, tear duct, orbit and face.

APPOINTMENTS
We respect our patient's time as much as our own and we do not like to keep patients waiting unnecessarily. Unfortunately, it is impossible to know how long each appointment will last and our complete attention is focused on each individual patient during his or her appointment. Sometimes appointments, which last longer than expected or emergency additions to our schedule, create unexpected delays in the schedule. Although delays of that type are completely unavoidable in a medical practice, you can be sure that the entire staff is dedicated to running on time and most importantly, we will focus our complete attention on you during your examination.
Other than emergencies, patients are seen by appointment only. Our office hours are Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telephones are answered 24 hours a day. On rare occasions, your call may be referred to another physician when our physicians are away from the area. For your convenience, we may also be reached via email to the attention of our office manager at tammyr@midwesteye.com
